TayoTayo worker verification
Verification is an optional trust layer for workers. It helps customers understand what TayoTayo reviewed without turning the badge into a promise about future work.
What TayoTayo Verified means
TayoTayo reviewed the worker's identity and address evidence, plus any configured evidence required for the service shown. The result reflects the information reviewed at the time of the check.
Identity review
The worker submits an accepted government ID and private selfie evidence for manual review. Identity review is required for the badge but optional for joining TayoTayo.
Address confirmation
The worker may submit a recent proof-of-address document. Both current identity and address checks are required for the TayoTayo Verified badge.
Professional credentials
Licenses, certificates, permits, or training records can be reviewed for the specific service they support. A result for one service does not transfer automatically to another.
Document reviewed is not issuer verified
Manual inspection means TayoTayo reviewed the submitted document. We only use “issuer verified” when an authorized source independently confirms the credential.
Private evidence stays private
Customers cannot access raw IDs, selfies, proof of address, credential files, full credential numbers, reviewer notes, or exact residential addresses.
What the badge does not mean
Verification does not guarantee workmanship, conduct, safety, availability, licensing for every possible activity, or a successful project outcome. Customers should still review the service fit, profile, work samples, reviews, schedule, scope, and rate before hiring.
Workers can join, create a profile, and remain discoverable without completing verification when they meet the normal profile-readiness and moderation rules.
